Information for people interested in buying SPSS

There are three different versions of SPSS: the full version ($500), the graduate pack ($200), and the student version ($80). The graduate pack is a full version of the software, plus it includes AMOS for doing structural equation modeling. The student version has limitations for the number of cases and variables, and it doesn't include AMOS. Below is a link to one place that you can find the graduate pack.

On a final note, the SPSS website states that AMOS only works with windows. The mac lab won't work when we get around to SEM.

Hi Ed,
Found you other blog and have a questions related to r and r squared. How does this practically relate to the SD of the residual? Within what degree of certainty that the "average" if you will, can have these claims made about it? Or is my attempt at understanding completely off?
